A satellite communication industry customer required a high vacuum system to test and validate the integrity of their groundbreaking technology that provides a real solution for global gaps in connectivity imaging components under extreme pressure and temperature conditions.
We configured a system using our standard 36" diameter by 40" deep vacuum chamber utilizing a stainless-steel platen to achieve the target temperature ranges. A cylindrical thermal shroud was also included on the same thermal zone as the platen. This FST system also included as standard or ISO 160, 6" diameter door viewport with internal LED lighting. Vacuum pumping system included a dry roughing pump and high pumping speed turbo vacuum pump package.
System is mounted on a ruggedized mobile frame and testing is controlled entirely using our versatile HVC-3500 Thermal Vacuum Controller.
