Product Testing in a vacuum chamber environment enables the simulation of specific environmental conditions that may be present over the life of the product. Performance and reliability testing can reveal manufacturing and design flaws allowing for improvements in product design.
Environmental simulation can replicate the temperature and pressure conditions products will be subjected to during their intended use. Vacuum chambers and systems can be used to simulate hot and cold environments (-150 °C to +200 °C) in high vacuum (space) conditions to low pressure conditions.
Vacuum chamber systems are commonly used for analysis of chemical and physical properties, including mass spectroscopy, acoustics, plasma, microwave, optical and other applications. High vacuum chambers and systems are normally required for these types of analytical applications.
